Rustam Minnikhanov: “We sincerely believe in development of our cooperation with Yokogawa Electric”

On October 1, at his meeting with President and Director General of Yokogawa Electric Takashi Nishijima, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that he is satisfied with cooperation with the company and hopes for its development.
Welcoming Takashi Nishijima, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that such annual meetings on results of cooperation have become traditional since the protocol of intentions was signed between Tatarstan and Yokogawa Electric in 2007.
The President continued that Yokogawa equipment was installed at many Tatarstan enterprises. Currently, the equipment is being installed at “Ammony” plant in Mendeleevsk, and staff training is being carried out in Kazan.
“We are satisfied with participation of your company in our industrial projects,” Rustam Minnikhanov said addressing President of Yokogawa Electric. He expressed his special gratitude for company’s participation in staff training.
The President noted that Tatarstan is becoming the centre of IT projects, and invited Yokogawa company to create a software development centre in Innopolis. “We want to continue working with you and sincerely believe in your success,” Rustam Minnikhanov said addressing Takashi Nishijima.
Takashi Nishijima, in his turn, said he was satisfied with cooperation with Tatarstan. Also, he informed participants of the meeting that the company opened a service centre in Nizhnekamsk last year, expanded functions of its laboratory at Kazan State Technical University, and Yokogawa laboratory will open at Nizhnekamsk branch of Kazan State Technical University on October 2.
President of Yokogawa Electric addressed Tatarstan President with request to have a separate building in technopark “Idea”. He also said that the company is planning to launch production of pressure sensors in Russia, probably in Special Economic Zone “Alabuga”.
Rustam Minnikhanov said he supports all company’s proposals.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Takashi Nishijima signed protocol of intentions between the Republic of Tatarstan and Yokogawa Electric Corporation.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported the statistics on collection of utility payments and payment discipline.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that 170 educational facilities will have capital overhaul by federal and regional programmes, having added that the bulk of the projects are planned to begin at the start of the summer holidays.
