Rustam Minnikhanov meets Under-Secretary for the Trade Council at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Susanne Hyldelund

On October 10, during his working trip to Copenhagen, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Under-Secretary for the Trade Council at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Susanne Hyldelund at Denmark Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main purpose of the trip is to study infrastructure experience of Copenhagen in the sphere of urban transformation. He noted as well that Tatarstan proactively cooperates with Gehl Architects, and company’s director Jan Gehl has recently visited Tatarstan.
Besides, Tatarstan President visited Denmark with the Russian delegation in April 2010.
Rustam Minnikhanov introduced members of the delegation, heads of ministries and agencies.
Danish companies, such as Rockwool, Haldor Topsoe, and Danfoss are successfully working in Tatarstan.
In particular, Haldor Topsoe cooperates with Nizhnekamskneftekhim and TANECO, and Rockwool plant opened in Special Economic Zone “Alabuga” in April 2012.
“Today Tatarstan is one of the most attractive regions for business with industrial sites, technoparks, preferences in special economic zone located on its territory. We are willing to continue cooperating with representatives of Danish business,” Tatarstan President said.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Russian Embassy in Denmark and Danish Embassy in Russia for their help and support in organizing the visit.
“Denmark and Tatarstan have established good contacts and business relations, and I am sure that we will have some prospective projects in future,” Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
Susanne Hyldelund, in her turn, expressed her hope that the current visit would favour development of closer relations between Danish and Tatarstan businessmen. Speaking about potential areas of cooperation, she mentioned construction, agriculture, industry and processing.
“We are supporting companies that are working in your region and your initiatives on developing cooperation with Denmark,” Susanne Hyldelund said.
During the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in long-term cooperation with Danish businessmen and invited Susanne Hyldelund to Kazan.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
