FIFA inspection delegation arrives in Kazan

On October 17, at Kazan-Arena stadium, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met a joint delegation of FINA and Russia-2018 Organizing Committee representatives who arrived in Kazan to inspect the preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2018.

Kazan is the second Russian city where the joint delegation inspects stadiums that will host the World Cup 2018. On Thursday, experts inspected Saint-Petersburg, and, after Kazan, will head for Moscow and Sochi.

The matches of the 2018 World Cup will be held at 12 stadiums located in 11 cities across Russia, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and Samara. The Kazan-Arena stadium is one of the two 2018 World Cup stadiums put into operation and used as intended.
