Rustam Minnikhanov meets Director General of Agency for Strategic Initiatives

On October 17, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Director General of Agency for Strategic Initiatives Andrei Nikitin, who is taking part in an educational seminar opened today in Kazan on National rating of investment climate in Russian regions.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Andrei Nikitin for holding the seminar in Kazan. Tatarstan President highly estimated modern assessment methodologies implemented by the Agency and noted the importance of comparing the investment potential of Russian regions. According to Minnikhanov, the republic is interested in increasing its own investment attractiveness, creating innovative economy and, as a result, promoting in the national rating. He assured Andrei Nikitin that the regional leadership will take a close look at all proposals and suggestions that will be put forward at the seminar.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Andrei Nikitin also discussed prospects of implementation of new joint projects between Tatarstan and Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
