Tatarstan Prime Minister meets Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia

On October 22, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Russian Federation Pierre Helg.
Ildar Khalikov welcomed the Ambassador and members of the delegation on behalf of Tatarstan President. “Switzerland is a longtime partner for Tatarstan, and we have good relations in many areas, although the potential is much more," he said.
Tatarstan Prime Minister said that he was particularly pleased that Pierre Helg arrived in Kazan with a large delegation of businessmen. "Experience shows that such visits lead to new partnership relations," he said.
According to him, in some areas, such as electronic document flow, informatization of schools, public and municipal e-services, Tatarstan is in line with the best European countries. "We could cooperate with Swiss partners in this areas," Ildar Khalikov said.
He continued that there is great potential for cooperation in other areas as well, since Tatarstan has a range of developed industries that could be interesting for the Swiss business.
In his turn, Pierre Helg thanked the regional leadership for an eventful programme of the visit and warm reception. “Russia is not only Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. Tatarstan is one of the leading regions of Russia. The purpose of our trip is to meet people who will help us build good relations and visit companies to see into possible areas for further cooperation,” he said.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
