Tatarstan oil companies produced 25 million tonnes of oil for nine months

On October 29, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on activity of small oil companies in Almetievsk. Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, heads of ministries and agencies, and territorial subdivisions of federal authorities taking part in it.
Rustam Minnikhanov told that Tatarstan oil companies produced 24 million 784 thousand tonnes of oil (0.9 per cent more than last year) for nine months of the current year. Tatneft produced 19 million 602 thousand tonnes, small oil companies – 5.18 million tonnes.
Tatarstan President stressed that small oil companies make a considerable contribution to formation of regional budget.
“Oil industry is the basis of economy. It is especially important today when oil prices are falling, and the dollar is going up,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
He assured that government authorities will render comprehensive assistance in solving problems of oil industry workers.
According to the President, it is important to keep all achieved results when the share of hard-to-recover reserves is so big, and focus on import substitution.
Rustam Minnikhanov continued that users of imported products should estimate all risks, and use best practices of Tatneft and other Russian companies.
Director General of ZAO “Neftekonsortsium” Fanis Valiev told about results of work of Tatarstan small oil companies for nine months of 2014 and expected results till the end of the year.
Tatarstan Minister of Finance Radik Gaizatullin told about payments into the regional budget made by small oil companies.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
