Tatarstan President takes part in third meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the fifth convocation

On October 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the third meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the fifth convocation.
Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Committee for Culture, Science, Education and National Affairs Razil Valeev proposed to include the issue related to construction of a building for the Tatarstan National Library into the agenda. “The issue of construction of the building for the main book depository of the republic has a half-century-long history. The first resolution was adopted in 1960 during preparation for 100th anniversary of the library. Since then, five more resolutions have been adopted by the Government and the Supreme Council of TASSR,” Ravil Valeez noted.
He also offered to see into the implementation of resolutions on construction of the building of the National Library adopted over more than half a century ago.
State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin said to include the issue in the agenda without prior preparation of documents and consultations with the Government and offered to come back to the issue at the next meetings of the State Council.
By and large more than 70 issues including additional ones put forward by the deputies will be considered during the meeting.
Today, members of the State Council discussed the budget bill of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 and the planning period of 2015 and 2016 with amendments to it. The document envisages, in particular, the increase in the budgetrevenues and expendituresin the current financial year.
Previously approvedparameters of the budgetforthe planning period of2015 and2016remained unchanged.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
