Rustam Minnikhanov meets federal ministers in Moscow

On October 30, in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, and Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov.
According to Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov, Rustam Minnikhanov and Vitaly Mutko discussed holding of big sports events in Kazan. In particular, Mutko was told that preparatory works for World Aquatics Championship 2015 are fulfilled according to the schedule, the ticket programme has been launched, necessary infrastructure is being prepared, and organizational events are being held. Vitaly Mutko was satisfied with the process of preparation for the Championship.
Speaking about the visit of FIFA commission to Russia and Kazan, Vitaly Mutko said that there were not many remarks and specialists positively estimated the preparatory process. “Kazan-Arena” stadium where football matches of World Football Cup 2018 will be held is already being used, and almost all infrastructure facilities are ready.
During the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov also informed Vitaly Mutko that Kazan launched a bid to host European Judo Championship in 2016. Mutko supported the bid and said that Russian Ministry of Sport has already included the championship in the schedule. The final voting will be held in Dubrovnik on November 28.
At the end of the meeting Minnikhanov and Mutko signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of physical culture and sport between the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Ministry of Sport.
At his meeting with Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Rustam Minnikhanov discussed state support of the plant producing wheel disks “Mefro wheels RUSSIA Plant Zainsk”, creation of the product life cycle management system, and work on standardization and certification of laser technologies used in aviation industry.
At his meeting with Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov, Rustam Minnikhanov discussed improvement of life safety system.
Arrangements about new methods of work and more efficient interaction between the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Tatarstan were reached. In particular, new equipment will be provided for fire-fighting units, and additional personnel training will be carried out before holding big sports events in Kazan.
On 13 January, speaking about New Year events at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva informed that more than 8 thousand topical events were held during New Year holidays in the republic.
“These included mass celebrations, theatrical performances, concerts, sporting competitions, and much more. Outdoor events were particularly popular, “she said and informed about numerous events held within the Kurshe (Neighbor) festival and the regional Christmas Tree celebrations organized with participation of the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev, the Acting Mayor of the Town of Innopolis Ildar Khuzzyatov and heads of medical and construction organizations of the republic took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a children’s polyclinic in Innopolis. The new facility more than twice expanded the medical service of the town and also houses the 24 our emergency ambulances unit with a separate entrance for its staff.
On January 12, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced a new Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin to its staff.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
