1,970,800 square meters of housing or 82.2 per cent of the annual plan commissioned in Tatarstan

On November 8, speaking at a regional video conference with participation of all municipal regions held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Services of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that 1,970,800 square meters of housing or 82.2 per cent of the annual plan have been commissioned in Tatarstan as of November 7.
He also said that 94 houses with a total area of 253,700 square meters for 4,351 apartments have been commissioned under social mortgage programme in the republic.
Faizullin went on to say that 52 houses with a total area of 52,913 square meters are planned to be built under the rental housing construction programme in 2014. As of today, 40 houses with a total area of 14,131 square meters have been put into operation.
The Minister of Construction made a detailed report on implementation of the programme of construction of pre-school facilities in the republic in 2014.
Irek Faizullin also reported on the work of regulatory agencies, self-regulatory organizations and executive committees done to carry out weekly inspections for compliance with the labor protection requirements at construction sites. The Inspectorate of the State Construction Supervision has conducted 861 inspections and imposed 461 fines for violations of safety standards totaling to 17 million 666 thousand roubles since the beginning of the year.
Issues related to implementation of the programme of relocation of residents from shabby houses were also discussed at the meeting.

On February 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of opening XXI All-Russia competitions in fire-rescue sports for the Cup of the Tatarstan Prime Minister, held in the gym of the Chief Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan with participation of 21 teams from various regions of Russia - a total of about 430 people.
On 31 January, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin reported that capital overhaul of nine school in eight municipalities of the republic has started.
On 28 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an extended joint meeting of the Main Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan and a collegium of the Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergency Management and Natural Disaster Response of the republic which summarized results of work of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the republic in 2025 and set tasks for 2026.
In his keyword report the Head of the Main Directorate Irek Kadamov informed that there were 3 758 man-caused fires in the republic which killed 128 people and injured 177. Through joint efforts, we have managed to reduce the number of man-caused fires by more than 10%, the number of injured by 12 per cent, however the number of killed increased by 13 people, he said.
