1.1 million tonnes of sugar beet supplied to sugar mills in Tatarstan

On November 8, speaking at a regional conference with participation of all municipal regions held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Nikolay Titov reported that 1.1 million tonnes of sugar beet have been supplied to sugar mills and 107,000 tonnes of sugar have been produced in Tatarstan as of November 8.
Nikolay Titov said that 1.5 thousand hectares of sugar beet, 14.4 thousand hectares of grain maize and 32 thousand hectares of sunflowers are left to be harvested in the fields.
Speaking about main indicators related to production of agricultural products in ten months of 2014, Titov reported that 285 thousand tonnes of cattle and poultry (100 per cent as compared to 2013), 953.3 thousand tonnes of milk (105% as compared to 2013), 661 3 million pieces of eggs (103% as compared to 2013) have been produced during this period.
Titov made a detailed report on production of milk in the republic in October and presented data on weighted average purchase milk prices in the regions of the Volga Federal District.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
