Tatarstan to share experience in establishing technopolises with Crimea

On November 15, during his trip to Tatarstan, Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Himgrad technopolis within the framework of the federal programme of development of Crimea and Sevastopol till 2020.
Board Chairman of OAO Himgrad Albert Karimov, who took part in the meeting, said that industrial development of the peninsula is one of priority tasks, and the Federal state programme of development of Crimea and Sevastopol till 2020 implies establishment of several industrial parks. He noted that Tatarstan specialists are ready to share their experience with Crimean colleagues.
“We are expecting arrival of specialists, who will come to study experience in developing the site and infrastructure, participation in federal programmes, and tax benefits provided for residents. Special working groups will be organized,” Albert Karimov said.
During his visit to Himgrad technopolis Sergey Aksenov got familiar with work of several companies, including OOO “Technoprominvent”, research and production technopark of Kazan National Research University, and OOO “Danaflex-Nano”, one of the biggest residents of the park.
The visit to Himgrad technopolis was the final event on the itinerary of Crimean delegation in Kazan. Earlier, Russian Presidential Envoy in Crimean Federal District Oleg Belaventsev and Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Institute of fundamental medicine and biology of Kazan Federal University, regional engineering centre of medical simulators “Eidos”, agro-industrial park “Kazan”, and IT-park.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
