Rustam Minnikhanov: There is no alternative to the current plan of hazardous housing resettlement

On November 22, speaking at a weekly video conference, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the current plan of hazardous housing resettlement involving low-cost mortgage applied in Tatartsan is the only way to fix the problem.
Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Services Irek Faizullin, who took part in the meeting, reported that 830 agreements to buy out the residence for a total rehousing area of 32,012 square meters under the 2013 programme and 439 agreements for 15,345 square meters under the 2014 programme had been submitted to the ministry so far.
“Hazardous housing is a very important issue,” Tatarstan President said. “On the one hand, they are our people, they live in extremely unfavourable conditions but, on the other, there is a lack of federal budget funds, and if people refuse now we will not be able to help them at all later.”
Rustam Minnikhanov asked to explain the owners of the hazardous housing how the low-cost mortgage mechanism works.

“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
