On November 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in Ankara, was met by Ankara Vice-governor Hamza Duygun.
Upon arrival, Rustam Minnikhanov met with representatives of the Tatar diaspora and told them that the republic is developing relations with Tatars all over the world and helping to retain national traditions and culture. Representatives of the diaspora told Rustam Minnikhanov about their life in Ankara, and noted that they do not forget about their culture and native language, and study works of Tatar writers and poets.
During his visit Rustam Minnikhanov will meet Turkish ministers, visit Bilkent University, and Sican organized industrial zone. Participation in an extended session of Russia-Turkey High-level Cooperation Council chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the main event on the agenda.
Minnikhanov was accompanied by Aide to Tatarstan President on international issues Radik Gimatdinov, Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev, Chief executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Director General of Alabuga Special Economic Zone Timur Shagivaleev, Director General of Technopark Idea Sergey Yushko, Director General of IT-park Anton Grachev, and Head of Tyulyachinsky region Ildus Zaripov.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
