Strategic talent management programme launched in Tatarstan

On December 3, at a plenary session of the forum “Revealing talents” in Kazan (December 3-4), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that a state programme “Strategic talent management in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015-2020” will be implemented in the republic.
Experts, researchers, mentors, teachers and managers, who deal with talent nurturing and development of potential and abilities of young people, take part in the forum “Revealing talents”, an open scientific and technological event. Among main partners of the forum are heads of HR departments of enterprises, companies, organizations, and innovative projects of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Besides the plenary session, project workshops, strategic session “Road map of talent management in the Republic of Tatarstan (based on the project of state programme “Strategic talent management in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015-2020”) are on the agenda. A special field session of the Forum will be held at premises of top regional companies open for personnel inflow of talented young people.
Before the session Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the exhibition “My city-My talent” where mentors and leaders of different youth projects presented results and opportunities of their work.
Opening the plenary session, Minnikhanov said that new systemic work on interaction with talented young people will be started today. He noted that he raised this issue 1,5 years ago and the programme “Strategic talent management in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015-2020” was approved today.
Tatarstan President continued that talent management is an important issue for Russian regions and the republic is ready to share its experience in implementation of its own programme. He stressed that it is important to get a feedback concerning the programme.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
