Rustam Minnikhanov: “Our youth organizations have gained a lot of experience”

On December 9, speaking at a board session of Tatarstan Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport "Experience and prospects of state youth policy in the Republic of Tatarstan" dedicated to 20th anniversary of the implementation of the state youth policy in the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that over 20 years regional organizations have gained a lot of experience.
Making a keynote report on perfromance and prospects of the state youth policy in Tatarstan the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the republic Vladimir Leonov noted that over 20 years much have been done in the republic for the younger generation: the regional law "On Youth" has been adopted, a regulatory body has been established, all stages of development of the industry have been effectively passed. "Thus, the youth policy in the Republic of Tatarstan is systematic and stable," Leonov said.
According to him, the country's best children's and youth recreation system has been created in Tatarstan. This model formed the basis for most of the regions. There are more than 1,300 recreation facilities in the republic.
Rustam Minnikhanov supported the proposal to establish the title "Honored Worker of the State youth policy of the Republic of Tatarstan" and gave an errand to the Ministry of Finance of the republic to consider the wage issue for the industry employees. He also asked to adopt the programme "Children of Tatarstan" that was nearly stopped in 2014.
Minnikhanov also promised to allocate funds for repair of youth clubs. At the same time Minnikhanov called student construction teams to help with the repair as volunteers, promising to provide them with the necessary building materials and food.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
