Rustam Minnikhanov opens new tramline in Naberezhnye Chelny

On December 12, in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of a new tramline built using regional funds amounting to 530 million roubles.
Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, Director General of KAMAZ Truck Company Sergey Kogogin and others took part in a rally marking the occasion.
Letters of commendation of Tatarstan President for many years of highly professional work and contribution to the construction of new tram lines were handed in during the event.
After the rally, the honoured guests went by the tram along the new line. As many as 22 new tram stops, information boards indicating the route and time-schedule have been installed.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
