Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of Tatar diaspora in Hungary

On December 17, during his visit to Budapest, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of the Tatar diaspora at Kempinski hotel. They told Rustam Minnikhanov about their life in Hungary and events they organize that help to keep Tatar culture, traditions and language.
One of the event organizers, Chairman of the cultural and educational fund “Elifba” (“Alphabet”) Rita Khasanova told that activists of the Tatar diaspora hold meetings and lectures about the history of Tatar culture. Also, “Elifba” Fund organizes Sabantui celebrations in Budapest.
Participants of the meeting addressed Rustam Minnikhanov with request to organize tours of Tatar theatres and national ensembles more often. “You can count on our experience of living in Hungary, and our potential. We are willing to work for the benefit of strengthening Tatar-Hungarian relations,” Rita Khasanova said to Rustam Minnikhanov.
Representatives of the Tatar diaspora also asked Rustam Minnikhanov to consider an opportunity of providing Tatar literature.
Minnikhanov told about projects realized in the republic for Tatars living abroad, such as “Ana tele” online programme for learning the Tatar language, and “TNV-planeta” Tatar channel.
At the end of the meeting, Budapest Tatars handed gifts and souvenirs to Rustam Minnikhanov, including the Koran written in Hungarian.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
