Winners of regional contest “IT-champion” awarded in Kazan

On December 23, winners of the regional contest “IT-champion” were awarded at Kazan IT-park. For two years 363, 000 pupils have taken part in the contest. They have shown 450, 000 citizens how to work on the portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, 94 per cent of Tatarstan schools took part in nomination “Most active school”.
According to Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, the number of registered personal accounts has increased from 325, 000 to 1.2 million, the number of payments increased twice, the number of electronic services rendered to Tatarstan citizens increased from 16 to 30 million.
Winners in nomination “Most active pupil” helped adults to register their personal accounts on the portal of state and municipal services and make payments. Today, ten pupils, who got more scores, received prizes from Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
“You supported our initiative, and we see enormous results. You are changing the image of our republic. Many issues that seemed to be complicated are now solved quickly due to the portal of state and municipal services. We needed progressive people to realize all our plans, and we found them. You are our future. I am very glad that we realized this project, but this is just the beginning. We have set new goals, and will introduce new nominations,” Minnikhanov said.
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrey Pominov stressed that Tatarstan schools have modern equipment and teachers have laptops.
“All latest IT technologies have been implemented in our educational organizations. Specialized system of IT education is developing in the republic. It gives you the opportunity to reveal your abilities, talents and skills in this sphere,” Pominov said.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
