Rustam Minnikhanov: Relocation of people from dilapidated houses is a difficult programme, but the task is set and we will do it

On December 27, at a board meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that since the implementation of the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan 11852 houses have been renovated with the amount of funds totaling to more than 39 billion roubles and 2.6 million citizens living there.
The Board reviewed the results of the work of the Ministry in 2014 and tasks for 2015.
Minnikhanov reminded that the programme to relocate people from dilapidated houses is implementing in the republic. “Relocation of people from dilapidated houses is a difficult programme, but the task is set and we will do it,” he assured.
Among the important tasks that will be performed in the housing sector, he noted the introduction of information technology in the housing complex to ensure transparency of the industry, as well as the use of instruments of public-private partnership.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
