Rustam Minnikhanov: One of main tasks of 2015 is to keep the volume of industrial output

On January 13, at a session of the Economic Council of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on development of industrial sector in 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that one of the main tasks of 2015 is to keep the volume of industrial output and do everything to help enterprises not to lose their markets.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries and agencies, and industrial enterprises took part in the meeting.
Opening the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that all socio-economic indicators were achieved in 2014, and in general results of the year are not bad, and it is important to keep real sector of economy.
“Because of increase in currency exchange rates and appreciation of credit rates and without access to external financing and modern technologies the situation has become more complicated. All these factors cannot be underestimated,” Minnikhanov said. He also noted that there was a minimum unemployment level in the republic during the last few years, but it started increasing at the end of 2014.
Making report on preliminary results of 2014, Head of Federal State Statistics Service in Tatarstan Valery Kandilov said that indicators of 2014 have exceeded results of the previous period, and the economic growth has made 101.3 per cent. The GRP made 1, 630 trillion roubles, the industrial production index – 100.6 per cent. The shipping volume is expected to be 1,627 trillion roubles, fixed investments – 542 billion roubles, the volume of agricultural output - 189 billion roubles. By results of 11 months of 2014, the retail sales volume has made 700 billion roubles.
According to Kandilov, the foreign trade turnover has decreased by 13.6 per cent. The inflation rates have made 109,7 per cent.
Kandilov noted that these are preliminary results and final results will be presented at the end of February.
“Prosperity of our republic depends on work of the real sector of economy. Therefore, it is important so that all industrial enterprises will work efficiently,” Minnikhanov said. He also noted that all social programmes should be implemented in 2015.
Making a report at the session, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov focused on machine-building enterprises that should, according to Rustam Minnikhanov, ensure orders, sales markets and measures of support today.
Minnikhanov also said that it is important to work more efficiently in banking sector in terms of attracting funds for supporting and developing the economy and implementation of investment projects.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
