Tatarstan President holds business meetings in Davos

On January 21, during his working visit to Davos, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a number of business meetings with heads of the largest companies. Director General of OAO “Tatneft” Oil Company Nail Maganov took part in the meetings.
In the morning Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a business breakfast with President of Rwanda Paul Kagame and Ex-premier of Great Britain Tony Blair.
At his meeting with Cisco President for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia Chris Dedicoat Minnikhanov noted long-term positive experience of cooperation of the republic with one of the largest companies in the world. He told Chris Dedicoat about realization of Innopolis project and invited Cisco to this IT town being created in Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov also met Christophe Beck, the Executive Vice-president of Ecolab, Danfoss President and Director General Bjørn Christiansen, where he discussed prospects of companies’ work in Tatarstan.
The previous evening Rustam Minnikhanov visited solemn opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum.

On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.

On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.

On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
