Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan should take an active part in working out anti-crisis plan of the Russian Federation

On January 28, at the session of OAO “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Board of directors, the outcomes of 2014 of Tatarstan gas and petrochemical complex and the issues related to import substitution were discussed.
Then,Tatarstan President paid attention to necessity of taking an active part in working out anti-crisis plan of the Russian Federation.
“We should prepare anti-recession proposals from regional enterprises. The major task is to keep market and increase export volume. The main problem is getting loans in banks with interest rates increased. Ministries are tasked to analyse persperctive projects for enterprises to get preferences within the framework of the anti-crisis plan and measures on import substitution, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
“A decline in the ruble has caused increasing competitiveness of Russian products abroad. It is necessary to seize the opportunity and increase export supplies”, Director-general of ОАО “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin added.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
