On January 31, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov paid a working visit to Leninogorsk region to take part in a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and celebration of the 60th anniversary of Leninogorsk and 70th anniversary of Leninogorskneft Production Department of Tatneft Oil Company.
His working visit began with a round of the children's hospital, where more than 4,000 patients are treated every year.
Ildar Khallikov also visited the sports complex "Unost" (“Youth”), which is the center for the Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in ski jumping and Nordic combined where about 250 children train. Currently, the school building does not meet modern requirements, and the surrounding area of the sports complex, the main venue of the citywide celebrations, is outdated and irequire major repairs.
During his trip, Khalikov looked around the construction site of School No. 2 for 500 places and the culture center.
Opening the meeting of the organizing committee after inspecting the facilities, Ildar Khalikov said: "Leninogorsk is the primary source of oil and gas industry of the republic, and we have always paid due attention to the development of Leninogorsk. Today, on the threshold of celebrations district administration has prepared a list of socially important facilities and funds to their repair and reconstruction were allocated from the regional budget, Tatneft Oil Company is rendering a huge financial assistance. Also, within the framework of the Year of Parks and Gardens 22.3 million roubles will be allocated for the improvement of parks."
Head of Leninogorsk region Ryagat Khusainov made a report on the agenda. According to him, a comprehensive plan that includes the construction, reconstruction, major overhaul of social infrastructure using funds from regional and local budgets, as well as financial support of Tatneft Oil Company has been developed to celebrate anniversaries.
"Today, thanks to the regional leadership of the republic, support of Tatneft Oil Company and industrial enterprises the city is changing and developing: roads, schools, multi-apartment houses are being repaired, new social facilities are being built," Khusainov said and expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the republic and Tatneft Oil Company on behalf of all residents of the city and the region.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
