X Kazan and XV Russian Venture Fairs to be held on April 23-24, 2015 in Kazan

On February 2, during his working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session of the working group on preparation and holding of X Kazan and XV Russian Venture Fairs.
Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Andrey Nikitin, CEO of Russian Venture Capital Association Albina Nikkonen, CEO of the Association of innovative regions of Russia Ivan Bortnik and other participants of the session discussed organizational issues related to preparation for X Kazan and XV Russian Venture Fairs, concept of their holding and agenda.
Both fairs organized by RT Investment venture fund and Russian Venture Capital Association are to be held on April 23-24, 2015 in Korston hotel-entertainment complex in Kazan.
CEO of Russian Venture Capital Association Albina Nikkonen noted that Tatarstan has gained rich experience in attracting investments, further cooperation with investors and work with venture projects.
To the point, venture fairs are aimed at development and presentation of innovative infrastructure activity in Tatarstan Republic and the Russian Federation to attract venture investments into high-tech companies of small and medium businesses.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
