Supervisory council of SEZ “Alabuga” approves projects for the sum of 36 billion roubles

New projects of the Special Economic Zone “Alabuga” with the total funding of 36 billion roubles were approved at a session of Supervisory council of SEZ “Alabuga” held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Opening the first session in 2015, Rustam Minnikhanov said that 42 residents with the claimed amount of investments of 118 billion roubles are working at Alabuga.
The considered projects are estimated at 36.6 billion roubles.
It was noted that 5 enterprises opened at SEZ “Alabuga” last year, and 8 new plants will open this year.
Also, leadership of the republic is making efforts on developing social infrastructure.
The projects discussed at the session were production of galvanized steel (“AVS-Stal” company), production of starch products (UG group, Russia), assembly production of industrial machines using fiber lasers (IRE-Polus, Russia), production of body parts (Faurecia, France), production of wall panels (Wallsaving, Russia), and production of automotive components (Russian-Kazakhstan company “Bars-Technology).
All projects were approved by members of the Supervisory Council.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
