Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting with retired public service veterans

A solemn meeting of RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and vets of RT state management bodies was held in Kazan in the RT Cabinet. It was devoted to the International Day of Older Persons.

By words of Rustam Minnikhanov all planned projects are being realized in the republic despite existing problems. One of them is construction of oil-refining complex and plant for producing ammonia and methanol. Serious works are being carried out at the Universiade objects.

Among large projects Rustam Minnikhanov also mentioned home remodeling and program of social mortgage. “These large construction projects are part and parcel of our anti-crisis program. They allow creating new working places and using the potential we have”, - Rustam Minnikhanov underlined. Tatarstan is actively taking part in all federal programs. He noted likewise that federal government seriously supports republic in terms of implementing programs on decreasing social tension at labour market.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the veterans for their work and wished health and longevity.

Deputy head of RT Cabinet office Rashida Valiullova informed that about 170 veterans of public service were invited to the annual meeting with RT Prime Minister dedicated to International Day of Older Persons. Such events are being held throughout the republic.

The representatives of RT government and deputies of RT State Council visit regions and cities of republic to meet with elderly people. Such meetings are also held in labour staff of municipal units. Republican art groups performed at the meeting.
