Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of the Presidential council on economic modernization and innovative development of Russia

On February 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to Novocheboksarsk, took part in a session of the Presidential council on economic modernization and innovative development of Russia chaired by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The session discussed issues related to implementation of the state policy in the sphere of intellectual property.
“When we talk about the economy, which is based on knowledge, inventions, discoveries, we assumed that there is adequate legal protection for this,” Dmitry Medvedev said, opening the meeting. This protection is needed to properly include results of the intellectual activity into the economic cycle, so that they could generate profits, be the subject of legal relations, including the objects of pledge, contribute to increasing the capitalization of businesses involved in every aspect of the economic activity, " he continued.
Before the meeting Dmitry Medvedev and his party had visited the plant for the production of solar electric panels in Novocheboksarsk – the project of the Hevel company, one of the main investors in solar power projects in Russia.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
