Mintimer Shaimiev: “We have done a lot on reconstruction of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk for five years”

On February 18, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Deputy Chairman of State Council, CEO of “Revival” Foundation Tatyana Larionova, Mayor of Zelenodolsk Alexander Tygin, Head of the Institute of Archeology Airat Sitdikov took part in opening of the second exposition at the Museum of History in Sviyazhsk. The event was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the “Revival” Foundation.
In accordance with Tatarstan President’s order 2015 was announced the year of parks and squares in the republic. Therefore, new squares will be created in Bolgar (on the bank of Volga River) and Sviyazhsk (near the River station). The foundation helps developing the concepts of these squares considering historical, cultural and landscape features.
It was noted that according to Tatarstan President’s order on establishing boards of guardians and assigning city parks to big industrial enterprises, such board of guardians will be created in Sviyazhsk.
The guests also looked around the exposition dedicated to the history of Sviyazhsk of the 20th-the beginning of 21st century.
After visiting the Museum of History, Shaimiev said that documents about very important periods of history can be found there.
“Five years have passed since Tatarstan President signed the order about creation of “Revival” foundation. We have done a lot during this period,” Shaimiev said.
Tatyana Larionova told about further activity of the foundation in Sviyazhsk.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
