Tatarstan and “Gazprom Natural Gas Motor Fuel” sign “road map” of the project on developing compressed natural gas powered vehicles

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Director General of OOO “Gazprom Natural Gas Motor Fuel” Mikhail Likhachev have signed plan of actions (the “road map”) of the project on developing compressed natural gas (CNG) powered vehicles.
During his meeting with Mikhail Likhachev at Tatarstan Government House, Ildar Khalikov noted that the republic is one of the largest gas consumers, and OAO “KAMAZ”, a producer of CNG powered vehicles is located in Tatarstan.
According to Khalikov, Tatarstan has actively cooperated with Gazprom Natural Gas Motor Fuel since 2013. Also, Tatarstan companies bought 262 CNG powered buses under trilateral agreement signed between Tatarstan Government, OAO “Gasprom” and OOO “Gazprom Gas-Engine Fuel”. It was noted that 764 million roubles of federal funds were allocated in 2014 to purchase CNG powered vehicles for the housing and utilities sector.
Khalikov expressed his hope that the programme would continue in 2015.
According to Prime Minister, LNG plant is planned to be built in the republic.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
