Head of Tatarstan Government takes part in start-up of joint Russian-American venture “Federal Mogul -Naberezhnye Chelny”

Rustam Minnikhanov took part in official start-up of joint Russian-American venture “Federal Mogul - Naberezhnye Chelny” at JSC “KAMAZ”. Pistons, piston rings, cylinder liners for internal-combustion engines will be produced at the joint enterprise.

We remind that on March, 10 2008 President and Chief Executive Director of Federal Mogul Corporation (USA) Hose Maria Alapont and General Director of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin signed the agreement about establishing joint enterprise.

OOO “Federal Mogul Naberezhnye Chelny” is the fourth joint enterprise at “KAMAZ” production base with participation of foreign partners. The first one in 2005 was OOO “CF KAMA” specializing in production of switch boxes. A year later the joint Russian-American enterprise for producing engines OOO “KAMMINZ KAMA” was established; in 2007 - the joint enterprise with one of the world leaders in the sphere of producing break gear Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH (Germany) - OOO “KNORR BREMZE KAMA”.
Participation of JSC “KAMAZ” in establishing joint enterprises is the effective way to solve the problem of correlation “price- quality-timely delivery”.
