Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of Russian State Council on measures on increasing economic stability of regions

On February 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of Russian State Council on measures on increasing economic stability of regions held by the President Vladimir Putin.
“Considering current economic situation we should not wait for our directions, you should work proactively in regions,” Putin said. He expressed his hope that anti-crisis measures will be effective. Speaking about budget cutting in regions, the president said that “mechanical cutting” is not always the right way. Reasonable expenditure of funds is important, he cited Head of the information news agency TASS.
Putin also reminded that federal government started realization of anti-crisis plan of economic and social development.
“Subjects of federation are developing relevant plans. Measures specified in them are aimed at risk smoothing and I think they will be effective,” Putin said.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
