Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of the Congress of Tatars of Kurgan region

On February 26, during his working visit to Kurgan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met activists of regional public organization “Congress of Tatars of Kurgan region”. Governor of Kurgan region Aleksey Kokorin took part in the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Kokorin for helping Tatars and providing favourable conditions for the preservation of the Tatar language and culture.
Minnikhanov told about online project “Ana tele”, TV channe; “TNV-planeta” and social network “Tatar ile” and other projects that help uniting Tatars all over the world.
Participants of the meeting discussed issues of the preservation of the language and culture and education of young people.
Chairman of the “Congress of Tatars of Kurgan region” Rinat Karimov, who took part in the event, said that the Tatar language is taught in 6 schools of Kurgan region. However, there is lack of teachers of the Tatar language and literature, and Sunday schools need help in developing curriculums and programmes.
Rustam Minnikhanov suggested training young specialists from the region at Tatarstan teacher's training schools.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
