Tatarstan President holds a meeting with chief executives of oil companies

On February 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with chief executives of independent oil companies.
Making a report on results of the activity of small oil companies in 2014, Director General of Neftekonsortsium Oil Company Fanis Valiev said that independent oil companies produced 6 million 863 thousand tonnes of oil, which exceeds the plan by 312 thousand tonnes.
The increased oil production was achieved due to the use of enhanced recovery methods, active implementation of tertiary and hydrodynamic methods, he went on to report.
The independent oil companies continued introducing new technologies. The greatest effect was obtained by drilling multi-branch and horizontal wells with lateral and horizontal kickoffs, using modern technologies to maintain reservoir pressure.
Fanis Valiev also told about plans and objectives of the oil companies for 2015. They are to drill 200 operational and 26 exploration wells and produce 6 million 689 thousand tonnes of oil.
Tatarstan Minister of Finance Radik Gazatullin presented information "On payments to the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan by small oil companies of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014 and tasks for 2015".
The meeting also considered the results of work in the field of geology and mineral resources made in the republic, results of the activities of the Tatarstan branch of the Central Commission for the development of hydrocarbon deposits and other issues.
Summing up the meeting, Minnikhanov thanked oil workers for their worthy contribution to the economy of the republic, and set a number of specific tasks in the context of the issues discussed.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
