Rustam Minnikhanov approves the concept of reconstruction of parks and squares in Kazan

On March 4, the concept of reconstruction of parks and squares in Kazan was presented to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Kazan City Hall.
It is planned to reconstruct 25 park areas. Chief architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva told about every project in details. The first project was reconstruction of the park “Krylia Sovetov” in Oleg Koshevoy street, one of the biggest parks in Kazan.
Reconstruction of the square “White flowers” will be dedicated to memory of a Tatar writer Abdurakhman Absalyamov.
The project of a children’s park “Continent” consists in reconstruction of the territory for children’s and family recreation. It will be located between a large transport junction and residential districts.
Rustam Minnikhanov was also told about the square “Molodezhny” in Dekabristov street, development of “Lebyazhie” forest park, “Sosnovaya roscha” park, Uritsky park and a few other projects.
Rustam Minnikhanov approved all projects and required not to start reconstruction works without approval of the Department of architecture and city planning and members of the Expert council.
He also stressed that each project must imply functional zoning and stage-by-stage realization. “The main thing is to make these parks attractive for citizens of all ages.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
