On the threshold of 70th anniversary of Victory in WWII Ildar Khalikov hands over medals to veterans of defence enterprises

On March 11, Tatastan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov handed over medals to veterans of defence enterprises on the threshold of 70th anniversary of Victory in WWII. The event was held at Kazan aviation plant named after S.P.Gorbunov.
Ildar Khalikov congratulated veterans on the 70th anniversary of Victory in WWII and told that 700, 000 Tatarstan citizens went to the war, half of them never came back home. More than 300 citizens were given the title of the “Hero of the Soviet union”. Medals and orders were given to 200, 000 citizens of the republic, he said.
“We have a lot to be proud of. Our republic was an important region producing war equipment. Plants and factories started producing weapons,” Khalikov said. He told in details about such plants as Kazan aviation plant named after S.P.Gorbunov, Leningrad aviation plant (now Kazan helicopters plant), and the only film producing factory in the country that started producing aerofilm for air intelligence.
Ildar Khalikov noted that during the war Tatarstan industrial enterprises produced 600 different products: combat planes, weapons, artillery ammunition, rocket ammunition for Katyusha multiple rocket launchers and other war equipment.
Ildar Khalikov thanked veterans for their heroic deed and wished many years of life.
Medals “70th anniversary of Victory in WWII” were handed over to 35 veterans of Kazan strategic enterprises – Kazan aviation plant named after S.P.Gorbunov, PAO “KVZ”, OAO “KMPO” and Kazan state gunpowder factory.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic.
