Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Fleet of Russia Alexander Kolmakov

On March 19, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Fleet of Russia Alexander Kolmakov discussed main tasks no training conscripts for military service and teaching certain military professions, and patriotic education of young people.
Kolmakov noted that most military units practice mixed principle of recruitment when conscripts fulfil military assignments with professionals, which imposes certain requirements on the Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Fleet of Russia.
Minnikhanov noted that much work was done in this sphere in the republic. Tatarstan became the winner of the contest of Russian Ministry of Defence on training citizens for military service, organization and holding of the conscription.
Development of sports movement and promotion of healthy way of life yields good results in working with young people of pre-conscription age, the president said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
