Major repair started in 658 of 999 multi-apartment houses in 42 municipalities of Tatarstan

On March 21, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction of the republic Irek Faizullin said that according to the Tatarstan State housing inspectorate, major repair started in 658 of 999 multi-apartment houses in 42 municipalities in the republic. Repair works for the sum of 1 billion 80 million and 276 thousand roubles have been fulfilled.
The meeting was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.
It was noted that the repair works also started at 134 of 136 schools. 14 children’s camps have been repaired.
According to Faizullin, customized heating systems will be installed in 3, 828 flats. 301.3 km of water supply networks are planned to be built, 38 artesian wells will be drilled and 45 water towers will be mounted in 2015. The amount of funding is 650 million roubles.
Irek Faizullin also reported on realization of programmes on construction of veterinary units, repair of veterinary associations and agricultural departments, cowsheds and vegetable storages in rural areas.
During the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov asked to intensify work on providing orphaned children with housing under the programme 2015.

On 31 January, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin reported that capital overhaul of nine school in eight municipalities of the republic has started.
On 28 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an extended joint meeting of the Main Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan and a collegium of the Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergency Management and Natural Disaster Response of the republic which summarized results of work of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the republic in 2025 and set tasks for 2026.
In his keyword report the Head of the Main Directorate Irek Kadamov informed that there were 3 758 man-caused fires in the republic which killed 128 people and injured 177. Through joint efforts, we have managed to reduce the number of man-caused fires by more than 10%, the number of injured by 12 per cent, however the number of killed increased by 13 people, he said.
On 28 January at a ceremony held as a part of a meeting summarizing results of work of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the republic in 2025 and setting tasks for 2026, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Head of the Main Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan Irek Kadamov handed in keys for 24 new fire and rescue vehicles purchased at the expense of the regional budget to units of the Directorate and Tatarstan Emergencies Ministry.
