Rustam Minnikhanov: Potential of Tatarstan businessmen is known all over Russia

On March 21, at the 4th All-Russia congress of businessmen of Tatar villages in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the potential of Tatarstan businessmen is known all over Russia.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Chairman of All-Russia public organization “Tatar villages of Russia” Rashid Sanzyapov, Chairman of the executive committee of the World congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov took part in the event.
Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the exhibition of Tatarstan agricultural products, famers and businessmen.
Welcoming participants of the event, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the forum will help solving urgent problems of businessmen and establishing new contacts.
“Tatar businessmen are known as responsible and determined people in all Russian regions. By developing your projects you keep helping your compatriots by building mosques, developing villages,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He continued that today the process of large-scale globalization affects the future of rural areas and the basis of Tatar national identity: language, culture and traditions, and to avoid this we should provide favourable conditions and opportunities for self-realization.
Marat Akhmetov welcomed everyone and said that this meeting should consolidate the dialogue between Tatar businessmen from different Russian regions. He briefly told about development of Tatarstan agricultural industry and expressed his special gratitude to agricultural workers who took part in agricultural fairs.
Speaking at the congress, Rashid Sanzyapov offered creating a website where Tatar businessmen will exchange information and follow the news in the sphere of agriculture. Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea and said that this project is likely to be realized.
The president also handed over state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and letters of commendation of Tatarstan President to best businessmen and cultural workers.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
