Rustam Minnikhanov: medical tourism is a very perspective area

On March 27, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekçi, Minister of Health Adel Vafin, and Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on tourism Sergey Ivanov visited Kazan office of the travel agency “Mediatourism”, a subsidiary of «Akin Event» (Turkey).
The travel agency “Mediatourism” opened in Kazan in July 2014. The agency offers holiday recreation packages at different resorts in Turkey. Representatives of the agency say that their clients get medical treatment at best hospitals in the country.
Rustam Minnikhanov highly estimated the quality of Turkish medicine and provided services. Medical tourism is a very perspective area, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
