Rustam Minnikhanov holds regular meeting of the Economic Council of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan

On Aptil 18, speaking at a meeting of the Economic Council of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the index of industrial production in the first quarter of 2015 made 99.5% as compared with the same period last year in Tatarstan.
The meeting of the Economic Council held at Tatarstan Government House was dedicated to implementing the Priority Action Plan for sustainable economic development and social stability of the republic in the first quarter of 2015.
Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov said that earlier this year it was decided to take measures to ensure sustainable economic development and social stability of the region, taking into account the current economic situation.
"The situation is changing and positive trend is that the oil price is going up. However, there is no guarantee that this trend will be the same in the future," Minnikhanov said. Commenting on the index of industrial production in the first quarter of 2015, he said that there were more negative forecasts.
Interim President of Tatarstan also said that inflation for the first quarter made 5.9%. He stressed that, due to difficulties with lending and attracting financial resources there are some difficulties in the industry, particularly in engineering.

On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
