Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of the Federation of Jewish communities of Russia

On April 27, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the Federation of Jewish communities of Russia discussed the preparation for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Kazan synagogue.
The main events planned for the occasion will be held on September 3, 2015. It is expected that the celebration will bring together representatives of the Jewish community from the Russian regions and far abroad.
Moreover, the repair works were done in the synagogue on the threshold of this event. Particular attention was paid to the restoration of the original appearance of the facade.
Also, Minnikhanov supported the idea the establishment of the Tolerance Center in the republic. He cited the Tolerance Center opened in Moscow in 2012 as part of the Jewish Museum as an example.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
