On April 28, at his meeting with Head of Federal customs service Andrei Belyaninov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev told the guest about cultural and historical project “Cultural heritage: the ancient town of Bolgar and island town of Sviyazhsk” and 5-year work of the “Revival” Foundation.
Mintimer Shaimiev thanked Andrei Belyaninov for his help when the world’s biggest Koran was brought from Italy to Tatarstan in November 2011.
Belyaninov continued he had visited Sviyazhsk and was impressed by the reconstructed historical monuments. He was also going to visit Bolgar to see the world’s biggest Koran and monuments that were included in UNESCO World Heritage List.
First deputy Prime Minister Aleksei Pesoshin, Head of Volga customs administration Sergei Rybkin, Head of Tatarstan customs Albert Mavlikov took part in the meeting.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
