Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Ankara

On April 29, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Turkey. He was met by Deputy Governor of Ankara Mehmet Ali Alutas at Ankara Esenboğa Airport.
Rustam Minnikhanov will have official meetings with heads of Turkish ministries and agencies, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and Mayor of Ankara Melih Gekchek. A programme of development of twin-city relations will also be signed by representatives of Kazan and Ankara Mayor’s Offices.
On April 30, Rustam Minnikhanov will meet Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci and visit public places of the Turkish capital to find out more about technologies used in construction and improvement of parks and boulevards.
Main events to be held during this visit are participation in Tatarstan – Turkey Business Forum and meeting with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The Tatarstan delegation consists of the Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin and representatives of ministries and agencies.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
