Tatarstan plans to finish 2009 with tax volume 155 bln. RUR

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held republican meeting on operative results of implementing consolidated budget of RT for 11 months of 2009 and tasks till the end of year. He reminded that by results of 2009 budget deficit can make 28030 bln. RUR.

According to preliminary estimates gross regional product will make 94% in 2009. Index of industrial production in republic for 10 months of 2009 made 88 %.

Head of RT government asked to consolidate income and decrease of expenses.

Chief of Federal tax service management on RT Marat Safiullin made a report on tax collection in republic.

After plunge in 2008 and first quarter of 2009, receipt of tax payments in Tatarstan in the second quarter of 2009 increased by 19 % and 29% in the third quarter. Total volume of receipts in republic including UST (unified social tax) reached 185 bln. RUR. He pointed out the tendency of tax payments growth in spheres oriented for home consumption such as agriculture, production of food products, production of electric power, retail trade and communication. Special attention was paid to income which makes the basis of regional and local budgets.

Marat Safiullin reminded about a serious control over the fly-by-night companies which escape tax payment. It mainly concerns mining sector.

RT Minister of finances Radik Gaizatullin said that for 11 months 25 % less funds entered into consolidated budget in comparison with 2008. 130,2 bln. RUR have entered RT budget for 11 months. Tax and non-tax incomings at the rate of 21 bln. RUR have been channeled to local budgets.

Radik Gaizatullin also said that during reporting period salary costs with charges, food, medicines, communal services and social benefits have been completely financed.
