Memorandum on cooperation between UNDO and Tatarstan on industrial development signed in Vienna

Today memorandum on cooperation between UNIDO and Republic of Tatarstan industrial development has been signed in Vienna (Austria) by Director General of UNIDO Mr Kandeh Yumkella and RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

We remind that Tatarstan delegation headed by RT PM Rustam Minnikhanov is currently visiting Austria. The delegation includes RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin, Aide to Prime minister on foreign economic activity Iskander Mouflikhanov.

The ceremony of signing memorandum about cooperation between U.N.O. organization on industrial development (UNIDO) and Republic Tatarstan was held in UNO office in Vienna.

The document implies mutually beneficial cooperation of parties in such spheres as power efficiency and saving, ecology and biotechnologies, development of alternative power industry taking into account world tendencies, attraction into republic modern technologies on collection, processing and utilization of wastes using recycled resources, help with realization of production in world markets, attraction of investors and world financial institutes.

As many as 3m 175 thousand square meters of housing planned to put into operation in Tatarstan in 2026

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.

Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture: Today priority is to prepare agricultural machinery for field work in 2026

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

“Buran” (Snow storm) plan put into operation in Tatarstan

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds urgent meeting of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
