Rustam Minnikhanov visits industrial zone in Denizli

On May 17, during his working trip to Turkey, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, members of the Tatarstan delegation and representatives of Denizli Administration visited industrial zone in Denizli.
Director of the industrial zone Tanju Beştaş told Rustam Minnikhanov about the history and main activities of the zone. There are 280 industrial zones in Turkey with the total area of 80, 000 hectares.
Founded in 1975, Denizli industrial zone comprises 600 companies working in textile, chemical, furniture, engineering, and construction industries.
Tanju Beştaş noted that the leadership of the industrial zone put much emphasis on preparation of necessary infrastructure for future residents and providing facilities for workers.
Minnikhanov said that exchanging experience with Turkish colleagues in organization of industrial zones is very important for the republic. Close business relations have been established between Tatarstan and Turkey for the last few years, there are 280 Turkish companies working in the republic, he added.
“We learn a lot about working with investors and business sector from our Turkish colleagues, and try to use these practices in the republic,” Minnikhanov said.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
