Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with Consul General of Turkish Republic in Kazan Mr Ahmed Tuta

For representatives of Turkish business structures the Republic of Tatarstan may turn into a place for implementing mutually beneficial projects, organization of joint production and promotion to the other RF regions. Rustam Minnikhanov said today at the meeting with Consul general of Turkish Republic in Kazan Mr Ahmed Tuta at the RT Cabinet.

We remind that Ahmed Tuta replaced Consul General Ahmed Ergin. He has already been presented to RT President Mintimer Shaimiev and met with Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin.

In the course of conversation Ahmed Tuta requested about increasing the number of flights realized by company “Turkish Airlines” in Tatarstan. He is also interested in increasing trade turnover between Tatarstan and Turkey.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov suggested organizing the presentation of the electronic trade site ETIS for Mr Consul General. Besides, he considers that for developing further relations and interaction with representatives of Turkish business Ahmed Tuta has to see the activity of industrial sites in Tatarstan, such as techno-park “Khimgrad”, IT-park and others.

Head of RT government wished Consul General of Turkish Republic in Kazan a successful and fruitful work, creation of useful business contacts.

The meeting was attended by Director of external relations department under RT President - State Counselor of RT President on international issues Timur Akulov, Aide to Prime minister on foreign economic activity Iskander Mouflikhanov, RT Deputy minister of industry and trade Artur Fatykhov.
