Ildar Khalikov meets Director General of Rimera Group of Companies Vitaly Sadykov

On June 5, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Director General Rimera Group of Companies Vitaly Sadykov discussed prospects of development of the Alnas plant, the Almetyevsk-based asset of Rimera Group, and also touched on the issue related to cooperation between Tatarstan and Riemer Group in the sphere of foreign economic activity.
In 2014 the Alnas’s export volume amounted to 136 million roubles. In 2015, the Rimera Group and the Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant are in active negotiations regarding delivery of the Alnas products to foreign markets, including Iran. This project is being implemented with the support the Tatarstan leadership. At present the Alnas is being involved in the Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant project on complex delivery of equipment for the White Well project, which is implemented in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Deliveries are carried out to India, Lithuania, Venezuela, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. This year the company has signed foreign trade contracts for more than 430 million roubles. The work to enter new markets in Latin America is underway.
During the meeting Khalikov was also introduced the new Executive Director of Alnas Sergei Shunin. Tatarstan Prime Minister wished the new CEO success and expressed his confidence that the Almetyevsk plant, which plays an important role in the economic potential of the republic, will enter a new stage of its development.
"It is very important for us to maintain and develop the industrial potential of the republic. Both economic and social stability in the republic depends on the well-being of the Alnas plant, as well as the well-being of other major enterprises of Tatarstan. We will provide overall support to the company in the implementation of its new projects, including export ones," Khalikov summed up.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
