Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov takes part in press conference on the reconstruction of parks and public gardens

On June 6, speaking at a press conference on the reconstruction of parks and public gardens, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that about 30 parks and public gardens will be reconstructed in Kazan alone within the framework of the Year of Parks and Public Gardens in Tatarstan, with a total of 144 such “green spots” in the republic. He said that works at more than 100 facilities are already underway.
It is expected that 700 new deciduous and coniferous trees, more than 6.5 thousand bushes, 35 km of new pedestrian and bicycle paths, 19.5 thousand square meters of asphalt pavement, 1025 different types of benches, 35 sunshades and pavilions with total area of 700 square meters will appear in Kazan.
Journalists were also told about the website www.park.tatar, where projects of green facilities under development are posted. The project of the reconstruction of the oldest park in Kazan - Black Lake along with the Lenin's garden is the first one put for public consultation.
Head of Executive Committee of Kazan Denis Kalinkin and Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman also took part in the conference.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
