In 2010 it is planned to finish building of first turn infrastructure objects at special economic zone of "Alabuga"

In 2010, financing volume in amount of 1.5 billion rubl. will be channeled on erection of objects of infrastructure of the first stage of a special economic zone "Alabuga" (Republic Tatarstan). Out of them 1 billion rbl. – of the federal budget and 500 million rbl. – from the Republic Tatarstan budget.
General director Vasily Kudryashovof JSC «Special Economic Zone of industrial and production type "Alabuga"today informed at a meeting regarding SEZ “Alabuga” development.
The meeting was held in RT Government House. It was conducted by RT Prime minister Rustam Minnikhanov.
General director of JSC «Special economic zones» Evgeny Metelsky has taken part in summarising the work of SEZ "Alabuga" in 2009 and definition of problems faced next year.
Vasily Kudryashov informed that in 2010 it is supposed to finish building of infrastructure objects of the first stage in SEZ “Alabuga”. The list of objects for building is co-ordinated and includes the objects of power, the storm water drain, objects of heat supply, a network of telecommunications, construction of roads and their input in operation, etc.
As to building of objects of the second turn the design documentation has been already prepared , noted Vasily Kudryashov.
For today residents ОЭЗ of "Alabuga" are provided with engineering infrastructure.
Vasily Kudryashov also reminded that there are 9 companies-residents, in territory of "Alabuga", three of them are operating and registered. Two more companies having the status of SEZ resident", will begin their activity next months.

In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
